Our Mission
The 501(c)(3) charitable arm of the Southwest Section PGA, the Southwest PGA Foundation positively impacts the lives of youths, military veterans, minorities, at-risk families, and other individuals within the communities they serve. Through the game of golf and the dedication of its 1,200-plus PGA golf professionals, the foundation has provided more than $3.5 million in support of local charities.
Scholarships
The Southwest PGA Foundation scholarship program provides financial assistance to families of Southwest Section member professionals, including the children, grandchildren, spouses, nieces, nephews and employees. The Southwest PGA Foundation is a publicly supported 501(c)(3) charitable organization, and over the past three years, it has granted $41,000 in scholarship assistance.
Who We Support
We support the positive, safe, creativity-fostering environment of Alice Cooper’s Solid Rock Teen Centers. We support the mission of the Ronald McDonald House to create home-like atmospheres where families rest, rejuvenate, and face their hardest battles together. We support junior golf through golf programs like PGA Jr. League and Drive Chip & Putt.
