Host Site: Desert Forest Golf Club, Carefree, Arizona
Date: Monday, May 18, 2026
Registration Begins at 9:00 a.m.
Bull Rider Burgers/Sliders & Haystack at 10:30 a.m.
Tacking Up/Trail Ride: 12:00 p.m. Shotgun
The Watering Hole/Grazing Pasture/Scoring Opens at 4:30 p.m.
Chuckwagon Grub/Rodeo Chow at 5:15 p.m.
Special Guests & Awards Program at 6:00 p.m.
Each Team will consist of one PGA/LPGA professional and 3 amateurs
Format: Select Drive 1 Gross + 1 Net Ball
Multiple Par 3 events and Hole-In-One Events included
Prize Packages & Drawings
Each participant will receive a pair of Sun Day Red ‘Osprey’ Shoes, ‘The Gathering’ Custom Rodeo Headcover, ‘The Gathering’ Custom Cap and more…
ENTRY FEE: $2,400 Per Wagon Train
$800.00 Per amateur with the PGA/LPGA professional playing at no additional cost.
Field Size: 20 PAID Teams (80 Players)
REGISTRATION begins Monday, February 2nd with a separate notification and online link. Don’t delay…secure your team prior to the start of registration. Entries will be received and confirmed on a first serve basis.

Message to the membership of Desert Forest GC
Good afternoon to the members of Desert Forest Golf Club. It is with profound gratitude and on behalf of the Southwest PGA Foundation that we say THANK YOU for your support of our 2026 Pro-Am (‘The Gathering’) to be held Monday, May 18th. We are proud to now be part of the rich history of Desert Forest and the traditions maintained here since your founding in 1962. The mark you leave upon the game is evident in everything you do. We can’t thank you, Scott, Jeff and the professional staff, the Culinary Team, and of course the expertise exhibited within the Agronomy Team for making our time with you possible.
Since 1994 the Southwest PGA Foundation has been the bridge to our community, serving all walks of life through a diverse base of programs using the game of golf as its primary vehicle for impact. Programs such as PGA HOPE, Special Olympics Arizona, scholarship program for junior golfers, and our flagship fundraiser ‘Birdies for Good’ have literally transformed the communities of the Southwest Section PGA. The impact is vast all due to our 1,500 PGA professionals, donors, supporters, charitable partners and YOU!
On behalf of the Southwest PGA Foundation, our Board of Directors and those who will call Desert Forest their home for one day….THANK YOU AGAIN!
