WELCOME to the NEW Post-PGA HOPE Program we call PATRIOT WINGMAN!

Patriot Wingman – Southwest is developed as a true Post-PGA HOPE Program for PGA HOPE Graduates & their Wingman. Created to build upon the experience of PGA HOPE by giving graduates an opportunity to remain connected, continue playing the game, and strengthen the relationships that make a lasting difference in their lives.

Powered by the Arizona Golf Fund (via the Arizona Community Foundation), and established through the Southwest PGA Foundation, Patriot Wingman – Southwest brings military veterans together with a trusted Wingman for four weeks of golf, mentorship, encouragement, and camaraderie.

Each PGA HOPE Graduate is invited to share the experience with someone who has supported them along the way—a fellow veteran, family member, friend, caregiver, or trusted companion. Together, they learn, practice, play, and stay connected through the game of golf.

The program is designed to accommodate groups of 8, 12, or 16 students, conducted by trained PGA HOPE CERTIFIED instructors, and at the very same facilities and PGA professionals where Veterans graduated from PGA HOPE. These trusted environments will serve as the proving ground for continuing the engagement into the game and beyond. As part of the four-week program, participants will:

• Build confidence and improve their golf skills.
• Strengthen relationships with their Wingman.
• Reconnect with fellow veterans and their community.
• Experience the physical, emotional, and social benefits of the game.
• Create a pathway toward continued participation in golf.

Patriot Wingman – Southwest is more than a golf program. It is a commitment to ensuring that our military veterans never have to navigate life’s next chapter alone. A Wingman stands beside you. A Wingman encourages you. A Wingman reminds you that you are part of something greater.

Through the leadership of Southwest PGA Professionals and the generosity of the Arizona Golf Fund, Patriot Wingman – Southwest creates a welcoming place where PGA HOPE graduates can continue to grow, belong, and thrive. This generosity makes it possible for Veterans to participate FREE OF CHARGE, and at a drastically reduced rate for their Wingman. Because the mission continues after PGA HOPE—and every veteran deserves a Wingman.

Patriot Wingman – Southwest Program Guidelines

• Patriot – Wingman is a program of the Southwest PGA Foundation and is not supported or funded in any way by the PGA of America.
• Registration is through the LINK BELOW
• As the program builds more program sites will be added (please be patient)
• Additional program sites will be added for the remainder of 2026 (shortly) in both Southern Arizona & Metropolitan Phoenix.
• BE COMMITTED to participating and continuing the JOURNEY. Scheduling, logistics and organization go into each program along with the commitment of our PGA Professionals.
• Veterans and their Wingman are EXPECTED to participate in ALL 4-weeks. Please do not register if there are potential conflicts, or you may miss one of the 4-week sessions.
